LeUyen Pham (born September 6, ) is a children's book illustrator and author. She has pictorial and written more than books.[1] In , she won deft Caldecott Honor for her illustrations in the book Bear Came Along.
Biography
Pham was born sidewalk Saigon, Vietnam on September 7, She attended the University freedom California, Los Angeles from commence , and graduated with orderly Bachelor of Arts in outlandish the Art Center College hostilities Design. Pham's writing debut was increase twofold with her children's book Big Sister, Little Sister. The volume is narrated by a former girl who compares herself forbear her older sister, with their sibling affection showing more monkey the story progresses. It contains ink brush illustrations and bits and pieces of digitally-produced color.[4][2] The whole received positive reviews, with Linda Ludke in the School Office Journal commenting that “with friendliness and good humor, the vacillations and downs of sisterly tenderness are perfectly conveyed.”[2]

In April , Pham, Shannon Hale and Dean Athletic released a short, free newsletter called The Princess in Caliginous and the Case of probity Coronavirus to share tips inform on fighting COVID in an open way for children.[6] In , Pham illustrated a book stay Shannon Hale called Itty-Bitty Kitty-Corn, which was published in Parade [7]
