Early life

Rashid Caravansary was born in Sahaswan, Badayun, Uttar Pradesh on 1 July [2] He received his beginning training from his maternal grand-uncle, Ustad Nissar Hussain Khan (–).[2] He was also the nephew of Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan.[5]

Musical style

Illness and death

Rashid Caravansary died on 9 January , at a private hospital mediate Kolkata.
